with a bachelor of science in Gerontology which he followed with
a medical degree from the USC School of Medicine. He completed
an ophthalmology residency at Saint Louis University Eye Institute
and then completed a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at Manhattan
Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital .
