Ten years ago, Dr. Walker Ozar, Doctor of Chiropractic, had a
dream: to build a fully-inclusive health center offering not merely
excellent chiropractic care, but also the wide range of support
services necessary keep the body in top shape. He envisioned a
chiropractic facility that would provide not only a doctor's care,
but also physical therapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, gyrotonic
care, Pilates instruction, and the opportunity to work with a personal
fitness trainer in a state-of-the-art gymnasium. In short, he hoped
to create a multifaceted arena dedicated to maintaining a happy,
healthy back. His dream became a reality in 1999 when he opened
the Beverly Hills Posture and Rehabilitation Institute.
He has maintained his commitment to leading the healthcare vanguard
ever since. Today, the Institute Dr. Ozar founded is one of only
a few pain centers in the Los Angeles area to offer state-of-the-art
laser therapy for the effective management of pain. He uses the
Avicenna Class IV laser, the strongest laser available in the world
today-and the most soothing-to bring relief to his patients. Dr.
Ozar strongly believes that the future of pain management is devoid
of the need for drugs and needles-and he hopes to accelerate the
onset of that future.
Dr. Ozar received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University
of Arizona and his professional degree from the Los Angeles College
of Chiropractic. He started his practice in 1996 at Cedars Sinai
Medical Center in Los Angeles and shortly thereafter founded his
wellness center in Beverly Hills, California.
Dr. Ozar has a strong desire to reach out and help others and thus
contributes much of his time and expertise to Visions, the Next Generation
of the Israel Cancer Research Fund. He also donates his time and
services by working with hearing impaired children, the elderly,
people living with HIV/AIDS, and animals.
