Dr. Vicki Rapaport specializes in medical, pediatric, surgical and cosmetic dermatology-the science of diagnosing and treating problems of the skin, hair and nails.

She treats the skin problems of newborns, teens, the middle-aged and the elderly, including skin rashes and growths, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers, moles, melanoma, acne, warts, and all other diseases of the skin, hair and nails.

Dr. Rapaport regularly performs cosmetic dermatology procedures including Botox, collagen, Restylane, Juvederm, sclerotherapy of leg veins, microdermabrasion, medical peels, and permanent hair removal with the most powerful light-based laser in the world . Her work in the area of surgical dermatology work involves the surgical removal of skin cancers and other subcutaneous growths from the skin.

After completing her undergraduate studies at University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Rapaport studied medicine at Jefferson Medical School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania . She completed her internship at Pennsylvania Hospital, the oldest hospital in the nation, and completed her dermatology residency at the Thomas Jefferson University Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Biology. There, Dr. Rapaport served in the position of Chief Resident, recognition of her standing as the most outstanding resident in both patient care and medical knowledge. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology.

A recognized dermatology expert, Dr. Rapaport's experience working with the media includes appearances on FOX News, ABC's "Extreme Makeover," and TLC's "Ten Years Younger" where she discussed topics including medispas, sclerotherapy vein injection, hair removal, and overall healthy maintenance and anti-aging of the skin. She is currently engaged in a pilot study of Juvederm, a new filler agent from ALLERGAN (the makers of Botox) that will be marketed as a new alternative to Restylane, and anticipates that it will be a subject of interest to the public.

A native of Los Angeles, California, Dr. Rapaport practices medicine in Beverly Hills.
